LOCK 003: EN PSYCHRO- Faceless Mass LP

En Psychro (In Cold Blood) come from Nicosia, Cyprus. They were formed in 2011 and feature members of Aposynthesis, Within the Walls and Downward Spiral. 

Carrying elements from Hardcore Punk/Crust to old-school Thrash Metal, En Psychro deliver 14 tracks of over 30 minutes of passionate, angst ridden songs, with catchy riffs, executed in the infamous D-beat style.

"Faceless Mass" features 6 remakes from their 2012 demo, 2 songs from respective compilations, as well as 2 songs from their split 7" with Kyffpack, and 4 unreleased tracks.
Initially available online, a year later the album is pressed on vinyl, with a new re-mastering (by Nicos Stylides from Labyrinth of Thoughts) and will be released by Rusted Lock Records in a ltd edition of 250 copies.

LOCK 003: ΕΝ ΨΥΧΡΩ- Απρόσωπη Μάζα LP

Οι Εν Ψυχρώ προέρχονται από τη Λευκωσία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2011 και περιλαμβάνουν μέλη των Αποσύνθεσις, Εντός των Τειχών και Downward Spiral.

Κουβαλώντας στοιχεία από Hardcore Punk/Crust μέχρι old-school Thrash Metal, παραδίδουν 14 κομμάτια με πάνω από 30 λεπτά γεμάτα ένταση και πάθος τραγούδια, με πιασάρικα riffs, εκτελεσμένα στο διαβόητο D-beat ύφος.

Το "Απρόσωπη Mάζα" περιέχει 6 επανεκτελέσεις από το demo του 2012, 2 τραγούδια από αντίστοιχες συλλογές, 2 τραγούδια από το σπλιτ 7" με τους Kyffpack καθώς και 4 ακυκλοφόρητα κομμάτια.
Αρχικά διαθέσιμο στο διαδίκτυο, ένα χρόνο αργότερα το άλμπουμ κυκλοφορεί σε βινύλιο, με νέο re-mastering (από το Νίκο Στυλίδη από Labyrinth of Thoughts) και κυκλοφορεί από την Rusted Lock Records σε περιορισμένη έκδοση 250 αντιτύπων.

LOCK 002: NUCLEAR WINTER "s/t" MLP

Searching in a dictionary for a definition of nuclear winter, I read,

A worldwide darkening and cooling of the atmosphere with consequent devastation of surviving life forms, believed by some scientists to be a probable outcome of large-scale nuclear war.

That's exactly the feeling you get from the very beginning.
The contaminated wind blows in your face and an eerie, gloomy essence of death is spread out in the atmosphere, with the bell's tolling. 15 minutes of freezing cold darkness, filled with heavy, mid-paced tempos, haunting riffs and gruff vocals.
Combining the death metal touch of Bolt Thrower with the stench crust of Amebix, Hellbastard, Axegrinder.


Another "exhumed" jewel of Greek metallic crust history sees the light of the day after 16 years with an improved look.
Originally released in 1997 as a mcd limited to 566 copies and long sold out. 16 years later, for the first time to be released on vinyl, on an even more limited edition, of 300 copies.
One sided 12", featuring new artwork and full layout design, laser etched B side, embossed cover and an insert/poster with lyrics (in Greek) and album artwork.

Ψάχνοντας στο λεξικό για τον ορισμό του πυρηνικού χειμώνα, διαβάζω τα εξής,

Μια παγκόσμια συσκότιση και ψύξη της ατμόσφαιρας με συνακόλουθη καταστροφή της επιβίωσης των μορφών ζωής, θεωρείται από ορισμένους επιστήμονες να είναι ένα πιθανό αποτέλεσμα μεγάλης κλίμακας πυρηνικού πολέμου.

Αυτό είναι ακριβώς το αίσθημα που νιώθεις από την αρχή. Ο μολυσμένος άνεμος φυσάει στο πρόσωπό σου και μια απόκοσμη, σκοτεινή ουσία θανάτου απλώνεται στην ατμόσφαιρα, με το πένθιμο κτύπημα των καμπάνων.
15 λεπτά τσουχτερό σκοτάδι, γεμάτο με ογκώδες, mid-paced ρυθμό, στοιχειωμένα riffs και βαριά, ακατέργαστα φωνητικά. Συνδυάζοντας το death metal των Bolt Thrower, με το stench crust των Amebix, Hellbastard, Axegrinder.

Ένα ξεθαμμένο στολίδι μεταλλικής crust ελληνικής ιστορίας βλέπει το φως της ημέρας μετά από 16 χρόνια σε μια βελτιωμένη έκδοση.
Κυκλοφόρησε αρχικά το 1997 ως MCD περιορισμένο σε 566 αντίτυπα και εξαντλημένο εδώ και καιρό. 16 χρόνια αργότερα, για πρώτη φορά σε βινύλιο, σε μια ακόμη πιο περιορισμένη έκδοση, σε 300 αντίτυπα.
